Private Pay Child Care for Highly Rural Counties

Overview

Rolling Plains Management Corporation in rural Texas elected to utilize CSBG funds to open private pay child care classrooms in connection with Head Start and Early Head Start centers in communities where there were no other licensed child care options. In some centers, the agency is able to offer blended classrooms where children served by Early Head Start and children served through private pay are in the same classroom.
